Industrial Scaffolding Erection & Dismantling Plan: TS EN 12811 Field Protocol & Layher Allround® Standards (2026)

Back to All Posts

In refineries, petrochemical complexes, power plants, and shipyards, safe maintenance and turnaround operations rely on engineered temporary working scaffolds. Under TS EN 12811-1, TS EN 12810-1, and DIBt Z-8.22-939 approvals, every industrial scaffold requires a certified Scaffolding Erection, Use, and Dismantling Plan.

Key Engineering Standards & Tonnage Formula

  • DIBt Approvals: Z-8.22-939, Z-8.22-64, TP-21-012 certified Layher Allround® Lightweight (LW) S460 MH steel (12% lighter weight, 24% higher bending strength).
  • AutoLock™ Wedge Connection: 8-way rosette connection locked with a 500 g hammer blow.
  • Volume-to-Weight Rule: 1 m³ of industrial ringlock scaffolding requires 20 to 25 kg of steel material (e.g., 5,000 m³ = 100 to 125 tons).
  • Safety Protocol: 100% Tie-Off twin lanyard arrest, 50 Nm calibrated anchor torque, and Green/Red Scaff-Tag inspection.
